BOC Group is proud to announce its recognition as a ‘Key Innovator’ in three EU-funded projects, all featured on the European Commission’s Innovation Radar for their transformative potential across various industries. These projects—FAIRWork, COGITO, and the Knowledge Representation Ecosystem—aim to drive advancements in digital innovation, construction workflow management, and knowledge ecosystems throughout Europe. Explore the details of each project below to see how we’re making an impact.

FAIRWork: OMiLAB Digital Innovation Environment (DIEn)

In collaboration with JOANNEUM RESEARCH, we have developed the OMiLAB Digital Innovation Environment (DIEn) as part of the FAIRWork project. This platform addresses evolving market needs by providing a flexible space for organizations to innovate and collaborate in manufacturing. Currently classified as “Exploring” in market maturity, DIEn features collaboration tools, prototyping capabilities, and data-driven insights, enabling businesses to quickly develop and test new processes while optimizing operations to adapt to market changes.

COGITO: Enhanced Workflow Management for Construction

In partnership with QUE TECHNOLOGIES and NOVITECH AS, we are enhancing construction project management through our COGITO project. This initiative focuses on developing a Digital Toolset that provides trusted, real-time workflow management solutions for the construction industry. Recognized as “Tech Ready,” this toolset equips project managers, foremen, and workers with integrated tools that improve communication, streamline processes, and boost on-site efficiency, ultimately driving successful project completion.

FAIRWork: Knowledge Representation Ecosystem (KRE)

Working alongside QUE TECHNOLOGIES and NOVITECH AS, we are advancing construction management with the Knowledge Representation Ecosystem (KRE). This project aims to create a comprehensive framework for managing knowledge within construction workflows. By enabling efficient data sharing and representation, KRE enhances decision-making and operational effectiveness, empowering stakeholders to leverage insights and improve project outcomes across the construction industry.
