Yes! For standard courses we recommend using notations that are international standards (e.g. BPMN 2.0 in ADONIS). But if you are interested in developing your own modelling method, you have three platforms available for Academic Research: Open Models Initiative, the ADOxx Metamodelling Platform and the OMiLAB.
